OUR TEACHING ENVIRONMENT

We are warm, supportive, and welcoming. We’re also serious about standards, consistency, and excellence. Our most successful instructors: Are high-quality, intelligent movement educators Have strong understanding of body mechanics + anatomy Can teach with clarity, confidence, and precision Use hands-on and verbal cueing thoughtfully and professionally Balance structure + creativity, strength + safety Are engaged, welcoming, and relationship-driven Are collaborative teammates who believe in contributing to a community Are adaptable and curious — committed to growth and refinement Who Thrives Here Our clients trust us because they know every instructor here is thoughtful, highly trained, intelligent in their approach to movement, and deeply invested in helping people feel strong, capable, and cared for. We believe the best classes aren’t just athletic—they are smart, biomechanically sound, emotionally supportive, energizing, and deeply human. Our instructors create experiences that feel almost like personal training inside a group environment: present, observant, and committed to individual needs while leading a powerful room. We also understand the hustle of being a working instructor. We’ve built a supportive environment for our team, including a new dedicated break room in Mar Vista where instructors can recharge, connect, and breathe between classes. If you love teaching, believe in continued development, and want to be part of a team—not just a schedule we’d love to meet you. At Speir, we are a professional, career home for PILATES instructors who care deeply about excellence, integrity, connection and THEIR craft.
