About the Role:

L & Y Enterprises LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Company Class A Driver to join our team in North Bergen, NJ. This is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of a well-maintained rig and be a key part of a growing operation. Responsibilities:

Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations throughout New Jersey , New York and Pennsylvania
Transport freight and cargo to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
Maintain accurate logs including Hours of Service (HOS) using ELD devices
Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securement of freight
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic and safety laws

Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
