That's why many consider us the best in the world at what we do. SUMMARY:Production Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and sanitizing our production lines. SHIFT OPTIONS: Weekday Days:  Mon- Thurs, 4 X 10 hr shifts (9:00AM - 7:30PM)Weekday Nights:  Mon-Thurs, 4x10hr shifts (5PM-3:30AM, 7PM-5:30AM, 9PM-7:30AM)Weekend Day:  Fri-Sun, 3x12hr shifts (5AM-5:30PM, 7AM-7:30PM)Weekend Night: Fri-Sun, 3x12hr shifts (5PM-5:30AM, 7PM-7:30AM) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Directly work with the Production Lead/Supervisor to ensure that the bar and/or granola lines are running properlyOperate production line equipment including, but not limited to, industrial mixers, scales, printer labelers, ovens, cooling tunnels, high-speed packaging machinery and various other equipment related to food productionAccurately measure and prepare food ingredients by following written recipesEnsure packaging materials are set up according to customer specificationsPerform sanitation of production equipment, parts, and the surrounding environmentAccurately record documentation to verify compliance with all required quality specifications and procedure checks for the assigned areaReport all safety concerns immediately to direct supervisor(s) upon discoveryTroubleshoot machinery as neededWork collaboratively with peers and leadershipFollow all safety, quality and GMP requirements of the positionOther special projects as assigned ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Must be detailed orientedThe ability to work independently by utilizing all trained processes and procedures with minimal supervisionBasic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionAble to receive, digest and implement constructive feedback provided by leadershipExperience in food manufacturing, or production, is preferred but no requiredForklift experience is an asset, but not a requirementThe ability to speak, read and write English fluently as it pertains to fulfilling the job requirements PHYSICAL DEMANDSStanding and walking 10 to 12 hoursAble to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. Able to push/pull more than 1,000 lbs. using pallet jackAble to continually bend, stoop, twist, and use of arms, wrists, and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout shiftAble to occasionally kneel, reach above the shoulder, work at heights, and climb stairs with ingredients weighing 25 to 50 lbs. Northern Gold Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
