Get to Know Your Team Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83‑bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services (Level IV Trauma Designated ER), General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more. Day in the Life of a PCT Work in an entry‑level position providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs. Observe patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses or other medical staff. Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests. Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties. Qualifications BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
