Accounts Payable Specialist

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Saint Louis, MO. Duties:
- Accounts Payable Specialist will process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Prepare ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs
- Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor onboarding
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will support month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Assist with 1099 preparation and audit requests
- Generate reports and perform spreadsheet analysis
- Collaborate with accounting team members on special projects and process improvements
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Experience processing invoices in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting multiple entities or locations
- Sage Intacct or similar ERP experience
- Healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or supply chain accounting experience
- Experience with automated invoice workflow systems
- Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP experience
