We're looking for a dynamic, relationship-focused Risk Management Representative to partner with municipal leaders throughout Eastern Massachusetts and deliver impactful risk management solutions.\nIf you're passionate about safety, enjoy working directly with clients, and want a career\n\nWhy This Opportunity Stands Out\n\n Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal leaders and department heads\n Influence safety culture and organizational performance\n Dynamic role combining field visits, training, consulting, and strategic analysis\n Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth and development\n Make a meaningful impact on public-sector organizations and the people they serve\n\n\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Risk Management Representative, you'll help municipal clients identify, assess, and mitigate risk while supporting effective safety and loss prevention programs.\nIn this role, you will:\n✅ Analyze claim trends, loss data, and root causes to identify opportunities for improvement\n✅ Develop and present strategic risk management recommendations to municipal leaders and department heads\n✅ Conduct on-site assessments of property, liability, fleet, and workers' compensation exposures\n✅ Assist municipalities with implementing safety initiatives, policies, and best practices\n✅ Deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and safety meetings\n✅ Stay ahead of emerging risks and industry trends, helping to develop new resources and educational programs\n✅ Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to support member success\n✅ Conduct field-based coaching and training for municipal personnel\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nYou are naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and enjoy helping organizations solve complex challenges. You can translate data into actionable insights, build trust quickly, and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n 3+ years of experience in risk management, safety, loss control, or related fields\n Experience working with municipalities or public-sector organizations is highly desirable\n Bachelor's degree preferred\n Professional designations such as ARM, CSP, ASP, or ALCM are a plus\n Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, FM, and UL standards\n Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills\n Certifications in OSHA Compliance, First Aid/CPR Instruction, or Defensive Driving are desirable\n Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Massachusetts\n\n\nWho We Are\nCabot Risk Strategies is a leading provider of risk management, employee benefits, and insurance solutions.
