Assignment Overview Rapid City, South Dakota Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: ASAP Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Description American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a cardiology clinic requiring 1+ year of clinic experience and current cardiology background. Details Cardiology clinic setting within a Heart and Vascular Institute Patient population includes General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery cases Clinic sees up to 22 patients per day Scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with 8-hour day shifts No weekend rotation and no on-call requirements Floating limited to within the Cardiology clinic Uses Epic EMR Requirements Current LPN license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required Cardiology clinic experience required Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing Additional Information Works alongside EKG techs, Clinical Assistants, Lead RN, and Nursing Manager for unit support Orientation includes facility protocol plus 3-4 days shadowing side-by-side with a nurse Holiday coverage required for 2 of 4 designated holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving Navy blue scrubs required Free parking available First-time travelers accepted if they have any clinic experience Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility Permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as a traveler Time off requests approved only via contract extension to reach a total of 13 weeks for any full week off Pay $2,006/wk Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $26,078 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $104,312 Weekly Breakdown Weekly Wages: $760/wk Regular Hours: $19.00 x 40 hours/wk = $760 Weekly Stipends: $1,246/wk Lodging: $110.00 x 7 days = $770 Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476 In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $1,805 - $2,006.
