Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse, Emergency Medicine, Sylva, NC This position involves providing critical care to diverse patient populations in an acute care hospital setting. The role is centered on delivering high-quality emergency services, including triage, resuscitation, and stabilization, ensuring prompt and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 7PM-7AM, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of practice, BLS, ACLS, PALS, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute stroke stabilization, chest pain management, and trauma care.
• Responsibilities: Triage and rapid assessment, resuscitation, managing trauma stabilization, neurological and cardiac care, sepsis, respiratory conditions, DVT/Pulmonary Embolism, diabetic and endocrine issues, gastrointestinal and obstetric concerns, renal conditions, mental health, substance abuse, wound management, fractures, dislocations, and assessment of multiple co-morbidities.
• Schedule Details: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
• Additional Notes: Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, Chest Pain Center Accreditation. The candidate must have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, demonstrate critical thinking, and handle multiple patient assessments efficiently.
