What You'll Do

• Lead commercial carpentry and interior construction activities on-site
• Perform and oversee metal stud framing, drywall installation, and finishing
• Complete finish carpentry work including trim, doors, cabinetry, and fixtures
• Coordinate daily activities with project teams, subcontractors, and other trades
• Ensure projects remain on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards
• Identify and resolve job-site challenges efficiently
• Enforce safety procedures and compliance with building regulations
• Maintain a professional, clean, and organised work environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience in commercial or residential construction
• Strong experience with drywall installation and finishing
• Proficiency in metal stud framing
• Skilled in finish carpentry and interior finishing work
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial renovation or tenant improvement experience
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience
• Experience working alongside multiple trades on active construction sites

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
