Structural Engineer

Windsor Engineers is looking for a Structural Engineer who will support licensed engineers in the analysis, design, and documentation of structural systems across a variety of project types.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Demonstrate Windsor’s core values through positive representation, teamwork, and professional conduct. Support licensed Structural Engineers with the analysis and design of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis under the supervision of a licensed engineer. Assist in the preparation of structural drawings, details, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines as part of an integrated project team. Assist with quantity takeoffs, basic cost considerations, and project documentation. Support construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and attending site visits as needed. Participate in continuous learning of structural engineering codes, standards, and best practices. Maintain organized project files and contribute to quality control efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited institution. 2+ years of relevant structural engineering experience; municipal water/wastewater project experience valued (internship or co‑op experience may count). Working knowledge of structural design principles and applicable codes (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS). Experience with or exposure to AutoCAD and/or Revit for structural drafting and modeling. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Proficiency with basic engineering software and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment while managing multiple tasks. Valid driver’s license and ability to perform site visits as required.
