This facility operates as part of a large health system, maintaining the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient gastroenterology coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population. Locum tenens gastroenterology physician associate coverage is sought beginning in September on an ongoing basis.

Tennessee offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions, outdoor recreation, and year-round activities suited to varied interests. The state features destinations that span from Nashville's music heritage and professional development events to the natural landscapes of the Smoky Mountains region and historical sites found in areas such as Oak Ridge and Knoxville. Outdoor enthusiasts will find recreational opportunities at locations such as Norris Dam State Park and Cedars of Lebanon State Park, while cultural and entertainment options include museums, aquariums, and adventure parks across the state.

The gastroenterology physician associate will provide inpatient GI coverage on a 10-hour day shift basis at this on-site facility in Tennessee. Clinical responsibilities include managing ED consults, conducting inpatient rounding, and overseeing post-operative patient care in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
