This Binjiang Foreign Language School was built by Suzhou Guanghua Group with an investment of RMB 1.35 billion. It is the first directly affiliated branch campus of Suzhou Foreign Language School in Nanjing and is located in the core area of Nanjing Jiangning Binjiang Development Zone, covering an area of 205 mu.
The school provides 15-year continuous education from kindergarten to senior high school, covering both regular senior high school and international senior high school. Each grade is designed with eight parallel classes and can accommodate 3,300–4,000 students.
Position
International High School Department - IELTS Speaking Teacher (Foreign Teacher)
Responsibilities
Responsible for IELTS Speaking teaching and exam preparation for international high school students.
Familiar with the test format, scoring criteria, and score-improvement methods for IELTS Speaking Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3.
Provide targeted training in pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and logical expression based on students’ English proficiency.
Able to conduct mock speaking tests, assess student performance, and provide specific and effective improvement suggestions.
Participate in teaching research, lesson preparation, student assessments, and related teaching activities according to the school’s curriculum arrangements.
Depending on the school’s teaching needs, may also teach English speaking or other English club courses in the future.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above.
Native English speakers preferred; candidates with an educational background from English-speaking countries in Europe or North America preferred.
Standard, natural, and clear English pronunciation, with excellent communication and classroom presentation skills.
Experience in IELTS Speaking teaching and exam preparation; proven experience in improving students’ scores preferred.
Familiar with IELTS Speaking scoring criteria; able to develop teaching and score-improvement plans for students with different proficiency levels.
Experience teaching English at international schools or the high school level preferred.
Experience teaching academic English or general English preferred.
Chinese language proficiency preferred.
Candidates currently in China preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: approximately RMB 20,000/month, negotiable based on the teacher’s qualifications and teaching experience (including a social insurance allowance of RMB 2,000/month).
Flight allowance: RMB 10,000/year.
Entitled to school winter and summer vacations.
(If teaching, admissions, or other school-related work is arranged during vacations, the teacher is required to cooperate with the school’s arrangements.)
Housing allowance: RMB 2,000/month.
Free meals during employment on campus.
Start Date
Start as soon as possible (preferably join before November 15th). Candidates currently in China who can start as soon as possible are preferred.
