Director Patient Services - Manatee Hospital Summary: Participates in planning, policy development and priority setting. Ensures that nursing and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system. Ensures compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards. Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA and JCAHO) and established national standards of care. Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost effective manner. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence. Minimum Qualifications: Required Education includes MSN or BSN and Master's Degree in related field. Required experience includes 4 years in Healthcare Leadership or 3 years in Nursing Leadership w/ MSN or Doctorate's Nursing and RN Certification.
