Receiving Clerk
Join a dynamic team as a Receiving Clerk in the paper, pulp, and printing industry. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in logistics and inventory management while supporting crucial supply chain functions within a fast-paced environment.
Receiving Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments to ensure accuracy of part numbers and quantities.
- Manage hold areas for inbound, unverified shipments.
- Obtain picking orders from OSW for supplies and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain organized shipping and packing materials and work area cleanliness.
- Verify delivery conditions, report discrepancies, and document findings.
- Support additional tasks related to inventory control, shipping, and receiving operations.
- Work directly with confidential client data and ensure compliance with HIPAA training requirements.
- Use equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers safely and effectively.
Receiving Clerk Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED; previous receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and perform extended periods of standing or walking.
- Experience with computer applications including email, Microsoft Office, and shipping software like UPS and FedEx.
- Valid forklift and cherry picker operation certification or experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed to support production demands.
