Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to work inside the piping room. Your main tasks will include setting cages, applying indicators such as pipe size and batch numbers, blow torching the inside of pipes, and cleaning and oiling molds. Familiarity with tape measures, concrete work, hand tools, and power tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set cages and apply indicators like pipe size and batch numbers.

• Blow torch the inside of pipes.

• Clean and oil molds.

• Work with hand and power tools comfortably.

• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and follow instructions well.

• Read and utilize a tape measure effectively.

• Complete checklists with precision.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.

• Construction or trades experience.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.

• Completion of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with overhead cranes and blueprints is a bonus.

• Experience in assembly, production, concrete, landscaping, carpentry, or forklift operation.

• At least 2 years of consistent work experience in past roles.

Work Environment

You will work in an outdoor and warehouse production environment that is not climate-controlled. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and a dirty environment due to concrete work.

This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
