Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intensive Care Nursery (NICU) position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience, with day/night rotation shifts available.

Details

• Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) within a full-service Children's Hospital within a hospital
• 30-bed unit with an average daily census (ADC) of 22–24 patients
• Day/night rotation schedule, 36 hours per week
• Floating required to the Chad Inpatient Unit, which includes Pediatrics, Pedi Step Down, and PICU — skill-to-patient matching is prioritized when floating
• Travelers are not required to attend deliveries

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of NICU/ICN nursing experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• 2 manager references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• The unit operates as a full-service Children's Hospital within a larger hospital system
