Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for senior clients to accurately identify and address their specific counseling and therapeutic needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on emotional challenges related to aging, end-of-life issues, grief, and life transitions.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement personalized geriatric care strategies that enhance the overall quality of life for clients.

• Provide education and resources to clients’ families and caregivers, promoting understanding and strategies to improve emotional well-being in the elderly.

• Implement and oversee cognitive stimulation programs and therapeutic activities aimed at improving mental acuity and emotional health in our senior community.

• Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards in geriatric mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited university.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
