Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, including crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments tailored to individual client needs. \n
- Consistently document client interactions and treatment recommendations promptly and in compliance with regulatory standards. \n
- Implement evidence-based screening tools to evaluate clients and identify the most effective intervention strategies. \n
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to design and execute positive behavioral support plans. \n
- Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the organization's commitment to quality care. \n
- Serve as an advocate and liaison to relevant state agencies, community partners, and service systems as required. \n
- Maintain open communication lines to ensure alignment with contract standards while promoting the agency's mission. \n
- Cultivate relationships with external organizations to foster partnerships and secure potential funding sources. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and representing the agency at state-level meetings and committees. \n
- Promote the integration and application of the agency's mission and values in all interactions. \n
- Adhere to additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring comprehensive support of our clients' needs. \n
The LMHC will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and persons with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Our focus is on providing tailored care that respects the unique journeys and backgrounds of each client.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required. \n
- An independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Texas is mandatory to practice. \n
- Demonstrable ability to maintain accurate clinical records and prepare requisite reports effectively. \n
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team setting, exhibiting cooperation and a collaborative spirit. \n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to express ideas effectively to both clients and team members. \n
- Ability to exercise professional judgment and make sound, independent decisions. \n

- Experience in a community health setting or similar environment specializing in mental health and substance use recovery. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions. \n
- Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams focused on developmental disability services or related fields. \n
