CNC Operator 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC equipment in a sheet‑metal fabrication environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate bending, laser cutting, and punching machines (TRUMPF machine knowledge is a plus). Assist in debugging operating or programming problems with high‑laser cut quality parts. Work / inspect parts according to blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures, etc.). Maintain high standards of quality by ensuring parts passed to a subsequent work center are good. Assist in CNC area’s operational activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables. Sort, organize, and separate parts according to production orders, drawings, and setup plan. Maintain CNC machines, area, and other tools in good condition by performing 5S and TPM activities regularly. Ensure inventory levels of sheet‑metal storage system. Use a variety of tools and machines such as forklifts, overhead cranes, drill press, power drills, air tools, grinders, deburr, grind and clean sheet‑metal parts. Be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Participate in daily shopfloor management meeting and be an active member of SYNCHRO Plus activities (SFM, TK, IK). Actively contribute to department’s SYNCHRO events and tasks for the CNC Operating area. Qualifications Minimum of 2–3 years experience in CNC machining.
