Overview What Operations Technology contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. It includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Operations Technology is responsible for the identification and application of appropriate new technology and associated processes to drive efficiency, productivity and optimal network design, interfacing with transportation and customer‑facing strategies to ensure continuous supply chain solutions. Responsibilities Support supply chain expertise and work with the customer onsite to support inventory reconciliation process changes to maintain and optimize the service/solution. Work onsite at customer locations, which could range from a hospital department to a surgery center. Cultivate relationships to ensure a successful customer experience and long‑term relationship with customers. Articulate benefits and adoption strategies to customers’ supply chains to drive efficiency and optimization that helps retain business with Cardinal Health. Customer presentations and internal account planning. Advocate for customers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner while adhering to Customer Solutions Team policies and procedures. Collaborate with Sr. Consultant, Customer Solutions Team on opportunities within the account. Work in a cross‑functional team consisting of Operations, Engineering, Customer Support, and other functions to ensure successful installation and adoption of the Customer Solutions Team solutions. Conduct reporting via Excel and utilize Cardinal Health Customer Optimization tools and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred. 3–8 years of experience, preferred. Ability to work independently with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and strong problem‑solving skills. Strong supply chain and customer‑facing experience. Proficient in data analytics tools, including Excel (Pivot Tables). Experience with Tableau, preferred. Experience working within inventory management systems and other databases, preferred. Location Ideal candidates will be based in Boston, MA. The position requires onsite work at various hospital locations within the eastern Massachusetts area. The schedule will be onsite Monday through Friday during various hospital working hours.
