About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active RN License Certifications: Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate Must-Have: High risk obstetrical bedside training Experience circulating in c-section in the labor and delivery area Experience recovering high acuity patients Description: Experience with high-risk patients is required. This is a high-risk obstetrical unit focused on labor and delivery. The unit has 24 beds, with estimated patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. The type of equipment used includes GE fetal monitors. Documentation is done using Meditech and CNS. The schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM each week. Floating to the antepartum unit may be required as needed. Attendance policies will be followed. Dress code: Scrub color specified, with a clean and healthy nail policy. Hair must be neat and clean, and body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
