The role involves providing critical care for a diverse patient population, including those requiring open heart procedures, balloon pump therapy, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting advanced life support and vascular procedures. Job Details Certifications and Education Requirements: Arizona license, BLS, ACLS; minimum 2 years of relevant ICU and cardiac experience. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Experience: 2 years in ICU, cardiac or cardiovascular specialty, with ventilator management and vasoactive drips experience preferred. Responsibilities include managing post-operative CABG patients, STEMI, and IVascular procedures; the role requires the ability to float to medical ICU and progressive care units as needed. Typical procedures performed on the unit include post-CABG care, STEMI management, IVascular interventions, and open heart monitoring. Open to candidates with experience in open heart procedures, balloon pump, CRRT, and related cardiac critical care skills. Must have: Arizona license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of ICU experience. Candidates with skills in open heart surgery, balloon pump, and CRRT will be considered first.
