Neonatologist Position at Mercy Children's HospitalWe are seeking a neonatologist to join our progressive, growing neonatal practice at Mercy Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.ResponsibilitiesTeam approach toward care in a 100-bed, Level-IV NICUAverage daily census of 90, with 1,500 admissions and more than 10,000 deliveries annuallyNeonatologists and NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house careChallenging clinical environment including conventional and high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and whole body coolingClose collaboration with pediatric sub-specialists, including pediatric surgery, in a suburban Children's Hospital environmentLong time members of the Vermont-Oxford network with continuous involvement in QI initiativesNeonatal services at two nearby Level-II NICUs with NNPs in-house 24 hours and neonatologists taking call from homeArea: St. Louis is a cosmopolitan city, offering a multitude of recreational opportunities -- from major league sports teams to spectacular parks and golf courses to beautiful hiking and canoeing nearby.
