Key Responsibilities
- Independently open, manage, and close residential and commercial escrow transactions.
- Prepare and review escrow instructions, settlement statements, closing documents, and disbursements.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and third-party vendors.
- Ensure compliance with California DFPI regulations and company procedures.
- Manage transaction timelines, outstanding conditions, and closing requirements.
- Maintain accurate escrow records and transaction documentation.
- Communicate proactively with all transaction parties.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the escrow process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of escrow experience preferred.
- Experience working within a California DFPI-licensed escrow company strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California escrow procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to independently manage multiple escrow transactions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with escrow software and Microsoft Office.
- Professional, motivated, and client-focused.
- Established book of business or industry following is a strong plus, but not required.
