Territory Sales Manager – Industrial Distribution
Greater Hartford & Connecticut Territory
- $100–125K base
- Uncapped commissions/bonuses: $25K–$50K+
- Company car — business and personal use; fuel, maintenance, and insurance fully covered

Position Overview
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will inherit a set of existing accounts (~$1M) to manage and grow while proactively identifying new business opportunities across Greater Hartford and Connecticut. You'll represent a trusted, rapidly growing brand known for operational excellence and enduring customer partnerships — with uncapped earning potential and a full company car package.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Territory Growth – Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets, expand accounts, and maximize revenue
- Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions – Understand client operations and goals to provide tailored, high-value solutions that improve efficiency and profitability
- Drive Consultative Sales – Engage decision-makers from procurement to executive leadership, building trust and long-term partnerships
- Own the Sales Process – Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, negotiate contracts, and close high-impact deals
- Champion the Brand – Act as a trusted advisor representing a 70+ year legacy of quality, service, and innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of success in outside sales, business development, or territory management — industrial, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
- Hunter mentality — skilled in cold calling, networking, and closing new business while growing existing accounts
- Consultative approach — exceptional ability to identify needs, craft solutions, and deliver results through strategic selling
- Strong understanding of industrial supply chains, manufacturing processes, and B2B distribution
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100K–$125K (willing to go north of this for tenured experience)
- Uncapped commissions/bonuses: $25K–$50K+
