Clerical Assistant-Carol Stream Center (FWS Only)

Assist Carol Stream Center staff with reception and clerical duties.

• Answer phones.
• Assist faculty, staff, students and visitors to center.
• Schedule appointments using web based systems.

Hours - Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:00pm-9:30pm Saturdays (every other) 7:30am-1:00pm

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Experience: Previous customer service experience with good communication and technical skills required. Knowledge of College of DuPage programs and procedures preferred.

Working Conditions: Copier, computer, telephone, fax machine. Must be able to move and lift boxes on a regular basis. This student position requires the following test/tests: Background Check.

Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
