Job Title: Assembler - Level 3

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling high-quality stainless steel utility carts and related foodservice equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will use hand and power tools, follow blueprints and work instructions, and ensure that each cart meets strict quality standards. The position offers hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly work, including polishing and finishing stainless steel components, in a clean and supportive production setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble stainless steel utility carts and related foodservice equipment using hand and power tools.
• Tighten nuts, bolts, and screws and rivet parts together to securely assemble basic parts and subassemblies.
• Use blueprints, diagrams, and detailed work instructions to correctly assemble kitchen equipment, carts, and hot bars.
• Perform mechanical assembly of carts, including fitting, aligning, and securing components.
• Assemble and install casters and other hardware onto carts and equipment.
• Polish and finish stainless steel parts to meet quality and appearance standards.
• Monitor product quality on a consistent basis and identify any defects or issues during the assembly process.
• Follow established safety procedures and proper tool-handling practices throughout all assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and product quality.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools for assembly work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Experience assembling components using nuts, bolts, screws, and rivets.
• Capability to monitor and maintain consistent product quality during assembly.
• Comfort working with tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Plumbing experience.
• Experience working with stainless steel materials.
• Experience polishing or grinding stainless steel parts.
• Familiarity with assembling kitchen equipment, carts, and hot bars.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following production priorities.

Work Environment

1st and 2nd shift available! You will work in a hands-on production environment using hand and power tools, blueprints, and assembly equipment to build stainless steel carts and kitchen-related products. The dress code includes steel-toe footwear, jeans, and a t-shirt, suitable for a safe and practical manufacturing setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.75 - $25.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
