Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Mid Shift) | Full-Time Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 52-bed freestanding emergency department with an average patient ratio of 3:1
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care using a team nursing model
• Accurately scan patients and medications with every administration in accordance with unit policy
• Utilize Meditech EMR and Alaris infusion equipment to document and manage patient care
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and mid-level providers within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Kansas (KS) RN Licensure required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI Blue Card required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with Meditech EMR
• Experience working in an emergency department of 52 beds or larger
• Strong focus on patient experience and satisfaction
• Ability to adapt quickly in a diverse, fast-paced environment
