Respiratory Therapist NICU PEDS RRT

This position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $30,000. Job Summary The Respiratory Therapist will demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and Pediatric patient care. The role includes execution of assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies, and may involve working with respiratory students in the clinical care setting. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC. One year of experience in Respiratory Care and documented training completed in NICU and/or Pediatrics. CRT, RRT by NBRC upon hire. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider required. PALS certification required within 30 days of hire. NRP certification required within 90 days of hire. ACLS preferred (facility-based requirements).
