Clinical Research Associate

ICON Strategic Solutions seeks a Clinical Research Associate II in San Antonio, Texas to support sponsor-dedicated clinical trials in cardiology and obesity. The role involves conducting site monitoring activities, ensuring protocol compliance, and maintaining data integrity across the trial lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits
Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity, and patient safety throughout trials
Collaborate with investigators and site staff on study conduct
Review clinical data and resolve data queries to maintain quality standards
Prepare and review study documentation including protocols and clinical study reports

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in scientific or healthcare-related field
Minimum 2 years of Clinical Research Associate experience
Deep knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulations, and ICH-GCP guidelines
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings
Willingness to travel approximately 60% as required
