Civil Project Manager

A Bridgeport, West Virginia area civil engineering firm seeks to hire a Civil Project Manager who specializes in Land Development to lead projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of construction plans, permitting documents, grade line design, alignments, storm water management, and environmental controls.
• Perform and review complex design calculations to ensure all submittals meet local, state, and client engineering standards.
• Prepare detailed project cost estimates, support clients through the bidding process, and oversee construction administration.
• Collaborate with field inspection personnel and evaluate daily reports to guarantee work adheres to design intent.
• Direct end-to-end project execution, including client communications, project budgeting, and internal cross-functional team coordination.
• Guide, train, and support the professional development of junior engineers and technical staff.
• Engage in business development efforts, client meetings, proposal preparation, RFQ/RFP submissions, and strategic division planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (or related engineering degree with strong, direct experience).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Land Development civil engineering design and project delivery preferred.
• Strong proficiency in land grading, drainage/storm water design, client management, and site layout planning.
