At Stafholt, we strive to be a Force for Good —not just for our patients, but for our employees and the healthcare industry as a whole.We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RN or LPN to join our dynamic team!All shifts 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6amPRN opportunities available.Shift differentials $1.25-$2.50 per hourIf you're passionate about making a real difference in people's lives, this is the role for you!Position SummaryThe primary role of the Registered Nurse is to supervise staff, monitor patients, implement treatments, develop patient care plans for long-term needs, administer medications, follow-up with families and provide the highest quality of care to all residents/patients. Provides clinical care in compliance with current federal and state guidelines, and company regulations.Essential FunctionsProvides the highest quality of patient care to facility residents/patients.Documents care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record promptly by utilizing standard clinical documentation guidelines as required by the facility, and local, state and federal rules and regulations.Communicates with resident's physician.Completes all nursing documentation: assessments, orders, progress notes, flowsheets, consents, and any assigned tasks and ensures that said documentation accurately reflects services required by the resident and provided to the residents.Participates in medication management to promote optimal safety and effectiveness for residents by:Administering medications as ordered, including next scheduled dose following admission/readmission. Notifies Supervisor of medications not available;Preparing, administering and documenting medications as prescribed;Observing and reporting resident responses to medication;Identifying and promptly communicating adverse drug reactions;Initiating enteral or parenteral therapy as ordered;Maintaining narcotic records accurately;Ordering or arranging for ordering of pharmaceuticals;Notifying physicians of automatic stop order; and/orCompleting recapitulated physician orders review, as assigned.Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments with residents. Directs and administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation.Punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.Other FunctionsEnsures compliance with company's clinical policies and procedures.Follows the guidelines established from the Nurse Practice Act, company standards, policies and procedures and sound nursing judgment.Performs other related duties, as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust maintain confidentiality and protect resident rights, regarding all resident/personnel information.Strong knowledge of HIPAA laws and related regulations.Must possess strong communication, customer service, teamwork and organizational skills.Positive, enthusiastic attitude.We offer shift differentials!Monday through Friday 6pm-6am $1.25Saturdays and Sundays 6am-6pm $1.25Saturdays and Sundays 6pm-6am $2.50Benefits:Competitive Pay $35-$52 per hour, DOE401(k) retirement planMedical, Dental & Vision plans to keep you and your family healthyPaid Time Off and holiday pay to recharge to prioritize mental and physical healthShort and Long-term DisabilityLife InsuranceA culture of growth and development with opportunities for continuing educationJoin Us Today! BSN preferred.Licenses/CertificationCurrent Washington State RN or LPN LicensureValid CPR Certification.ExperienceSix months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in accordance with WA State background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
