Seasonal Warehouse Worker / Cover DriverLooking for a role that offers variety and the opportunity to grow your skills? In this dual-role position, you will be trained to perform both cover drive and warehouse responsibilities. At this time of year, youll primarily serve as a seasonal cover driver, stepping in to support delivery operations and keep things moving. When needed, youll also be trained to assist as a seasonal warehouse worker. Your day-to-day assignment will vary based on business needs such as package volume, staffing needs, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between driving and warehouse dutiessometimes week to week, and other times spending extended periods in one role before transitioning to the other.This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules vary from dayto day.Cover Driver ResponsibilitiesTypically work 8 to 10 hours per day, MondayFriday or TuesdaySaturdaySafely operate UPS package delivery vehiclesDeliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer serviceWork independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locationsMeet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirementsWarehouse Worker ResponsibilitiesTypically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, MondayFriday or TuesdaySaturdayLoad and unload packages from UPS trailers and iconic brown package cars (vehicles)Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environmentReport for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover DriverWhat youll need:Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.Stamina this is a workout like no other!Valid drivers licenseno CDL required (License type varies by state proof required to qualify for the position)Satisfactory driving history Pass the DOT physicalPass a UPS driver testExcellent customer contact and driving skillsCover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniformAuthorized to work in the U.S.Industry-leading Benefits:Excellent weekly payPotential future career opportunities with UPS*Stay active throughout your shiftOpportunity to gain experience with an industry-leading company*This is a seasonal role.
