LifeScape RISE Custom Solutions in Rapid City, South Dakota, is seeking an experienced and compassionate DME Clinical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will help individuals identify and access durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology solutions that support independence, safety, mobility, communication, and quality of life.

Working within our mission and core values and utilizing Person-Centered Practices, you will partner with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to assess individual needs and develop customized equipment solutions.

What You'll Do

• Assess patient needs and determine appropriate DME and assistive technology solutions.
• Partner with patients, families, and caregivers throughout the equipment selection process.
• Present product options and explain pricing, billing, and available funding options.
• Participate in product quoting, coding, pricing, ordering, assembly, adjustment, modification, delivery, and inventory control.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to assessments, fittings, repairs, and equipment.
• Provide education and product information to physicians, therapists, schools, and other community partners.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts for RISE Custom Solutions services.
• Provide expertise and education related to:
• Wheeled mobility
• Seating and positioning
• Ambulation assistance
• Environmental controls
• Augmentative and alternative communication
• Activities of daily living (ADL) assistive devices
• Collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary professionals to develop solutions that promote independence and participation.

• Knowledge of assistive technology products.
• Ability to safely and effectively use power tools.

Base Wage starting at $38.44 plus additional for each year of experience.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:
At least three years of clinical experience.
Experience working with durable medical equipment (DME).
Experience in wheeled mobility, seating and positioning, or other assistive technology disciplines.
