TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Covington, Georgia, 30014!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Arterial line management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Care of ventilated patients - Central line care and management - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation precautions and PPE - Management of dysrhythmias - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Titrate cardiac drips - Titrate vasoactive drips Description: The ICU unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses, including respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID-19, DKA, CHF, COPD, and renal failure. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Patient ratios typically vary from 2 to 3 patients per nurse during day and night shifts. All travelers are expected to work on designated major holidays if they occur during their assignment. Floating may be required within the facility as needed. Full compliance is mandatory for timely start dates. Orientation will be part of the onboarding process. All scheduling requests must be finalized at the time of submission. Compliance documents must be completed promptly. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Travel experience is preferred but not required.
