BartenderPosition Reports to: Beverage Manager and Dining Services ManagerEmployee Categories: Full-Time, Year-Round or Seasonal | Part-Time, Year-Round or SeasonalFLSA Category: Non-exempt; HourlyCompensation: $25 -30/hourPrimary Responsibilities:Intermediate knowledge of all wine, beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage offeringsDemonstrated ability of cocktail preparation methods and styles (i.e. straight up, shaken, stirred, neat, etc)Knowledge of seasonal specialty cocktails and wine by the glass menuUnderstanding of appropriate glassware required per beverage typePrepare beverages in a timely manner as orderedAssist with additional beverage services during service (i.e. water, cocktail, coffee)Set-up and break down of bar, glassware, and equipment in scheduled spaceStock liquor, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages; restock as necessaryDaily sales entry in point-of-sale system and accurate reporting of inventory consumptionMonitoring equipment in bar; coolers, glass machine, soda dispensing machineAbility to present and pour a bottle of wine or champagneComplete side-work and prep as needed (i.e. cutting citrus, polishing glassware, preparing mixers, etc)Complete close-out duties and check out with manager prior to departingMaintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B storage areasAssist other bartenders with service and assigned tasksCommunicate courteously and politely with members and guests and address by nameAbility to work with all staff cohesively and follow directions from managerMaintaining logs to track daily protocols for sanitationAdditional duties/ projects as assigned by managementRequired Skills:Intermediate Food and Beverage knowledgeAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and perform the essential functions of the jobBasic reading and writing skillsAbility to speak English conversationallyAvailability to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduledSpecialized Knowledge/Licenses Required:TIPS certificationUniform Requirements:White, clean, pressed, dress shirt (provided on first day)Black slacks/pants (no denim, yoga pants, or casual materials)If the slacks are tailored with a belt loop, please wear a black belt with simple buckleGreen Tie (if needed, provided by TCC)Black Apron (if needed, provided by TCC)Black socks or stockings that go above the ankleBlack unadorned, clean/polished, comfortable work shoesBlack vest and/or jacket (if needed, provided by TCC)Physical Requirements:Must be able bend and reach for items off shelf, carry trays, and able to lift up to 40 lbs.Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hoursUse touch screen for POS systemThe Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
