As a senior platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. The world can’t wait.You Have:4+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments4+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness2+ years of experience operating Kubernetes in production such as ECK and AWS, including GovCloud2+ years of experience with cybersecurity fundamentals in infrastructure, platform, or security operations contexts including SIEM, vulnerability management, or incident responseExperience with DoD cloud and cybersecurity environmentsExperiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions Experiencedeveloping, managing, and securing containersExperience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environmentSecret clearanceBachelor's degree, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experiencedeveloping enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or AzureExperience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacksExperience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on KubernetesExperience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environmentsKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell ScriptMaster’s degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
