Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or three (3) months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 - $28.49 per hour. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan for employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. 401(k) Plan for employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees. All foregoing benefits for employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule, except PTO or FTO.
