Local Route Delivery Driver (CDL A/B or Class E)

Job Description

Be home every night while keeping local businesses moving. Express Employment is hiring experienced Class E, CDL A, and CDL B drivers for several local companies. Home nightly!

A day on the route

You’ll start by reviewing your run list and confirming what each stop needs. From there, you’ll load product securely, check your fuel, and roll out. As the day unfolds, you’ll keep customers and your manager in the loop about any delays, hit delivery windows on time, and wrap up by completing and submitting required paperwork before heading home.

What you’ll handle

Clarify the specifics for each delivery and plan your stop order
Collect, stage, and load stock safely
Monitor fuel levels and refuel as needed throughout the day
Proactively notify clients and your manager of any potential delays
Deliver materials on or before scheduled deadlines
Complete, retain, and turn in all required documentation

What you bring

Valid CDL A or CDL B , or a Class E endorsement
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
Strong command of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
