Job Description:

We are seeking three experienced Registered Nurses for our Critical Care Unit, working from 7 PM to 7 AM. These positions are available immediately and involve caring for a diverse patient population with diagnoses such as DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, Myocardial Infarctions, CABGs, Ventilators, and more. The unit is a mixed cardiac and medical ICU.


Candidates must hold a current RN license in their state of employment or be licensed via a compact state, with BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required. Prior critical care experience is preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply. The successful nurse will work with a patient ratio of 2:1 in the ICU and 4:1 in the IMCU, providing independent and complex care according to ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.


Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, documentation, and addressing the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. The nurse must attend new nurse orientation within the first 30 days and complete ongoing competency validations.


Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM). Every other weekend rotation is required; no on-call or floating responsibilities.


Type of patients: DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators, etc., in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU setting. Temp-to-perm opportunity available.
