What You'll Do:

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
• Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Support inmate mental health needs through therapies and interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care

What You Need:

• Valid KS LSCSW or LCPC licensure
• Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
• Excellent communication and assessment skills
• US citizenship required for ICE clearance (expedited process in place)
• Ability to commit to 40 hours/week with flexible scheduling

About the Assignment:

This position offers an engaging 13-week assignment providing direct mental health services within a correctional setting. You will play a vital role in supporting inmate mental health through assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention, ensuring comprehensive care in a secure environment.
