Outside Sales Representative

We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business.

The ideal candidate has experience selling into commercial markets, enjoys being in the field, and has an established book of business within the waste, hauling, recycling, environmental services, or related industries.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, territory canvassing, and site visits.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Meet with business owners, property managers, contractors, facility managers, and other key decision-makers to understand their operational needs.
• Present customized service solutions and prepare proposals that meet customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contract terms.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals and activity targets.
• Develop long-term customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.
• Partner with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, proposals, and follow-up.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous outside B2B sales experience required.
• Experience within the waste, hauling, recycling, environmental services, transportation, logistics, equipment rental, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Existing book of business and established industry relationships preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
