Title: Emergency Dispatcher

Location: Brookhaven, GA

Shift: Multiple shifts times

Interview process: 2 round interview process

Compensation: $19 - $24 (depending on years of experience and education)

Must haves

• 1 year of experience in 911 dispatch, EMS dispatch, ambulatory dispatch (see Boolean above)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in security technology, including CCTV, event tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi task under pressure
• Ability to write complete, accurate, and concise incident reports
• Ability to function independently
• Sound judgement and confidentiality in handling of sensitive information
• Advanced problem solving and crisis management capabilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed under stress
• High alertness and keen observation skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft office systems
• Ability to drive and operate Children's vehicles

Plusses:

• Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice

Job description:

Responsible for responding promptly to emergencies from a dispatch center. Must be able to use multiple technologies at a time (radio, phone, computer, camera) and think quickly on their feet. Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to handle high pressure environments. These dispatchers will be sending out Security Officers to respond to emergencies in the hospital.

Compensation

$19 to $24

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
