Customer Service Rep

Job Title
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Location: Hybrid - Bloomfield, CT
Responsibilities:
- Handle, review, and administer Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims in compliance with federal and state regulatory and/or company plan requirements.
- Establish FMLA/ADA workflow procedures and evaluate against appropriate leave plans to make initial claim decisions.
- Complete eligibility decisions during intake calls, gather pertinent data from employees or other supporting systems, and perform leave-ups as required, including recertification of health condition, intermittent claim tracking, and RTW confirmation.
- Update systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum one year of experience in Absence Management Claims.
- Experience with a strong customer satisfaction focus and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of the ADA/AMS process and background as to what's required.
- Strong customer service skills are a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum three years of FMLA/ADA claims knowledge of process and procedures.
