Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role requires an RN with a strong background in emergency nursing in a high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED

• Deliver emergency nursing care in a high-acuity 68-bed unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 based on acuity and staffing
• Work collaboratively with support staff including PCTs, triage RNs, and charge RNs
• Utilize Epic for accurate charting and patient management
• Participate in clinical orientation and shadowing as required
• Maintain proficiency in emergency drips such as TNK and Cleviprex

Requirements of the RN - ED

• Valid NY RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing and travel experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, PALS certifications
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Pediatric experience preferred
