Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:30 AM - 06:00 PM.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will be part of a high-quality medical team, providing exceptional care to a diverse range of patients including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Your work will directly contribute to the seamless healthcare services we provide in our community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care and monitoring for patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Assess patient's health status and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV lines.
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction during recovery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an acute care facility.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa.
• Experience with C-Section patients preferred.
