Job Description

Impact Recruitment is seeking a motivated and driven Survey Manager - Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join the team in Greenville, South Carolina . This role is responsible for managing survey projects, leading field crews, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate land surveys and investigations
Prepare Topographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, Subdivision Maps, Records of Survey, and Legal Descriptions
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including boundary calculations and legal ownership requirements
Oversee project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Serve as an advisor to engineering teams regarding projects, tasks, and operational needs
Apply standard land surveying concepts, practices, and procedures with professional judgment
Perform complex boundary and topographic surveying and mapping tasks
Lead, direct, and mentor field survey crews and survey technicians
Demonstrate creativity and independent judgment in problem-solving

Minimum Qualifications
Experience:

5+ years of demonstrated experience in land surveying, subdivision mapping, topographic mapping, and preparation of legal descriptions
Proficiency with Carlson Survey software and GPS equipment

Education & Licensure:

Bachelor's degree preferred
Active South Carolina Registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required

Required Skills & Competencies

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a regular schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
Strong client-service orientation
Self-starter with a collaborative, team-focused mindset
Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
