Become a part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team at our organization as an Inpatient Psychiatrist within our 40-bed adult psychiatric unit located in Sanford, Maine. We are looking for both full-time and per diem psychiatrists to provide compassionate, collaborative care for individuals facing complex psychiatric and psychosocial challenges. You will collaborate with experienced nurse practitioners, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and supportive programming staff in a collegial atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and continuity of care. This role presents a unique chance to influence treatment strategies, deliver direct therapeutic and pharmacological interventions, and significantly enhance the lives of patients—all while enjoying a favorable work-life balance in the picturesque region of Southern Maine.

• Lead and coordinate compassionate care for patients with diverse psychiatric needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapeutic and medication management interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

• Graduation from an Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School, with completion of an internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
• Current or eligible physician licensure from the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
• Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or eligibility for examination, as evidenced by documentation.
• Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry, with a current DEA Registration Certificate.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience, including residency and/or fellowship training.
• Fulfillment of additional credentialing requirements as outlined in Medical Staff By-laws.
