Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech in Plattsburgh, NY. This travel assignment begins on 11/02/2026 for approximately 26 weeks in a hospital-based Surgical Services OR unit. Weekly pay ranges from $2,003 to $2,152. No guaranteed hours are provided. Shift: 3x12-hour days. The role supports an operating room environment focused on vascular and general CVOR procedures, with scrub and circulator responsibilities as applicable. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,003 – $2,152 Contract duration: 26 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour days Start date: 11/02/2026 Orientation: 2 days Setting: Hospital OR unit with CVOR emphasis; includes ASC cases On-call and weekend requirements per schedule; rotation with other staff Extension opportunities based on performance and unit needs Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for CVOR and other OR cases; maintain sterile technique and instrument counts Anticipate surgeon needs, prepare and pass instruments, and manage specimen labeling and documentation Assist with vascular, ortho, general, robotics, ENT, plastics, and selected neuro cases as scheduled Support anesthesia and respiratory teams; monitor equipment and assist with patient positioning and transfers Document intraoperative events in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate case completion Prepare rooms for turnovers, maintain OR readiness, and participate in case turnover to meet scheduling needs Requirements Current New York state licensure as a Cardiovascular Technologist NBSTSA certification required; CNOR preferred BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in OR/CVOR settings with vascular skills Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; willingness to rotate with cases and locations (including ASC); on-call and weekend coverage per schedule Prior travel experience and experience in trauma II or higher environments preferred Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay and straightforward travel compensation 24/7 recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Dedicated support throughout the assignment Orientation and onboarding support (2 days on unit) Assignment length with potential extension opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
