Position Overview:

An Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for evaluating and treating residents to improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. The role involves creating personalized treatment plans, setting goals, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• State licensure and relevant certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is a plus
